Seoul's general subway operating window is approximately 05:30 to midnight, but it does not guarantee a last departure for your journey. Check your return route for concert night and account for taxi surcharges from 22:00.
Start with a transit card
Tmoney and EZL are rechargeable transit cards sold and topped up at convenience stores nationwide; affiliated shops also accept them. Seoul's adult subway base fare is KRW 1,550 with a transit card or KRW 1,650 with a single-ride ticket, effective June 28, 2025. For a concert departure from Gocheok Sky Dome, the operator recommends public transport and lists Guil Station on Line 1, Exit 2, approximately 5 minutes away on foot.
Compare passes against your actual routes
The physical Climate Card costs KRW 3,000, with short-term passes priced separately. Seoul has discontinued the 30-day pass, but existing cards can still be loaded with short-term passes. Effective October 1, 2026, coverage includes subways within Seoul and Seoul-licensed city and town buses, including late-night buses. Sinbundang, GTX, express buses and airport buses are excluded.
Seoul's current Climate Card page includes Gimpo Airport Station and permits alighting at Incheon Airport Terminals 1 and 2. That alighting permission should not be read as a general airport-bus benefit. Another option, Mpass, is exclusively for foreign visitors and allows up to 20 rides daily on covered Seoul subways, city buses and AREX, excluding express trains. Compare the covered services with your accommodation and concert routes before choosing a pass.

Prepare a return option for a late finish
A general subway operating window is not a confirmed last train for your station or journey. If your concert return involves a taxi, Seoul's standard sedan daytime base fare is KRW 4,800 for 1.6 km. Late-night surcharges are 20% from 22:00–23:00, 40% from 23:00–02:00 and 20% from 02:00–04:00. Kakao Mobility's k.ride serves international travelers, connects to Kakao T and displays an estimated fare before booking.
