Choose your connection before your Korea concert trip

Tourist options include eSIM, physical SIM and rented portable Wi-Fi. KT offers both data-only and data/call/SMS eSIMs, but voice and SMS services require an airport entry check.

Decide if you need data, calls or a hotspot

Start with what your phone supports and which services you want during your concert trip. For an iPhone, a purchased or rented physical SIM requires an unlocked or SIM-free device that supports a physical SIM. Home-carrier international roaming is another option; Apple advises checking plans with your carrier before travel. Portable routers create a hotspot and can be rented at Incheon and Gimpo airports.

KT lists tourist eSIM products with 010 mobile numbers, including data-only and data/call/SMS options. A number alone does not mean outgoing calls and texts are included: KT's data-only eSIM does not support them. Voice and SMS services require an airport entry check before they become available. Its tourist SIM/eSIM service is designed for visits within 90 days, and rental plus extensions cannot exceed 90 days.

Match the airport counter to your arrival

For an airport pickup, match the counter's terminal and opening hours to your arrival. KT lists a Terminal 1 arrivals-floor counter near Arrival Hall A, opposite Exit 2, open 06:00–22:00. Its counter near Arrival Hall F, opposite Exit 13, is open 24 hours. At Terminal 2, the airport directory lists 24-hour KT and LG U+ counters near Exit 4 on the first floor, plus a 24-hour SK Telecom counter near Exit 7.
